2,000 attendees, two afternoons, and nine aisles rich in solutions, services and the latest technology

The packed event featured 236 companies that occupied 295 booths across the nine aisles of the Fort Worth Convention Center. Products on display spanned everything from color management software, print inspection systems, multiprocess printing presses, proofers and prototypers, job management software and Doctor blades—all tools essential to the success of a package printing and converting operation.

“We were so pleased to be there,” says Director Neil Hailey who travelled from the UK-based Esterlam Ltd. “We were there to assist both APR and Pamarco with technical support for our Doctor Blades – as well as meet contacts old and new.”

The event for the entire global package printing and converting community at Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) 2016 Forum & INFO*FLEX, March 6-9 in Fort Worth, Texas, attracted heavy foot traffic on both days, as conference goers made their way from aisle to aisle evaluating and comparing services and solutions; and networking with the record number of exhibitors on the show floor.

“It was great to meet up with faces old and new including Dave Nieman and the whole APR Inc. team and John Burgess with the Pamarco team whose exhibition stands we occupied for most of the show. Thanks so much to them for their kind hospitality throughout.

“It was good it was to see all the people from all the other different companies that we work with, as well as help on a technical basis. “

Neil from Esterlam assisted throughout the show with info on new product developments and new projects. “It’s always great to be sat face-to-face with customers and be able to discuss current as well as future work. There is so much interest in the uniqueness of Esterlam advanced synthetic doctor blades and the different properties and performance we offer.”

As well as the show, awards were given for the Excellence in Flexography prestigious competition including International Paper Company, Mac Papers and the UK operation of Heritage Envelopes. “Congratulations to them and all the winners,” adds Neil. “We’re pleased that Esterlam were able to play a small part!”

As well as all the hard work…there was time for a little golf too! Well done to the team – well played! estfta1
